Your challenge:  

As Vice President of Brand you will develop and drive the cross-market brand strategy and grow our brand team at Taxfix. This includes Marketing, Product, Customer Success and Internal Communications experiences for internal & external customers. You will lead a team of brand strategists, marketing experts, creative studio, and brand operations who are focused on the core brand-building strategy and milestones. You will work with your team to translate this into a series of cross-touchpoint projects and campaigns that drive brand awareness and consideration in our key European markets.

Reporting to the Chief Growth Officer and serving on the Taxfix Leadership Team, you will take ownership of our end-to-end customer experience — making it high quality, cohesive, delightful, and relevant. You work your way back from the needs of your different customers and build our brand around them.You are results-driven and understand how to balance the complexity of data-driven execution while valuing a brand’s 'human' and harder-to-measure aspects.

Your responsibilities: 

  • Champion the brand: Lead and be accountable for the vision, strategy, and execution of our brand and the value of our brand equity with internal and external customers. For us, a brand is not just marketing campaigns but the entire customer experience.
  • Brand strategy: In setting your strategy, work your way back from the needs of the customer both qualitatively and quantitatively across all our markets.
  • Brand positioning: Drive a clear brand position across all customer touchpoints, online and offline, internal and external. This includes working with Product, Marketing, Engineering, Design, Operations and People teams to make sure they bring our brand to life.
  • High performing teams: Foster, inspire and build strong in-house teams whose creative and strategic product rivals that of iconic, successful, vision-based brands. 
  • Identify and partner with world-class external vendors where it does not make sense to build it internally.
  • Execution: Manage key projects, budgeting, resources, and timelines. Value execution as much as strategy.
  • Innovation: Drive innovation in our strategy and how our brand teams work. Treat technological solutions as a key opportunity in scaling success across your responsibilities.


Your profile: 

  • 10+ years brand experience ideally gained in fin-tech, a consumer brand, or a branding agency with a min. 3-4 years in a senior leadership role in a fast-paced environment.
  • Confident in briefing, implementing, and interpreting market and brand tracker research, campaign testing, and offline performance measurement in close collaboration with Analytics.
  • Creative, with the ability to brief and provide sound creative feedback for content and campaign creatives, whether working with the internal creative studio or external agencies.
  • Inspiring and effective team leader, providing vision and direction to the Brand Team as well as to the wider organisation on all things brand.
  • Excellent project manager, able to break down high-level brand strategy into comprehensive, scoped, and resourced implementation plans to ensure resource availability, efficiency, and scalability.
  • An outstanding communicator with a collaborative mindset, able to convince and create consensus across a range of stakeholders
  • A pragmatic, positive mindset that takes the initiative to make things happen.
  • Fluent in English. Other European languages are a plus (particularly German, French, or Italian).
