Every year millions of people are either filing their taxes in fear or giving up on their tax refund altogether. We're working on fixing that. Our intuitive app enables anyone, regardless of education or background, to file their taxes with newfound confidence.
Spread across Berlin and Madrid, Team Taxfix is a compassionate group of solution-finders. In five years, we've raised over 300 million euros in funding and helped people reclaim more than one billion euros.
Your responsibilities:
- Lead, inspire and grow a team of enthusiastic, ambitious creatives across all the disciplines (design, copy, creative productions).
- Act as a creative leader in the business. Comfortable working with upper management to influence and drive creative goals over time.
- Work closely cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to gather insights, influence creative - specifically, but not limited to Marketing and Product.
- Build and maintain a strong network of external agencies/freelancers and manage projects to budget and deadline.
- Understand the Taxfix customer deeply and use that knowledge to build a creative vision which brings our brand strategy to life.
- Develop and build our brand identity playbook across design, copy and creative productions (motion, photo), ensuring all creative is on-brand and consistent in terms of style, quality and tone of voice.
- Guide the Studio to translate marketing objectives into compelling creative assets for a range of markets, driving brand awareness, consideration and/or conversion.
- Work with brand operations to set up processes and briefing requirements, delivering to timeline with scalability in mind.
- Data-oriented, with strong understanding and ownership of creative KPIs. Able to conduct usability tests to gauge creative effectiveness. Manage creative learnings and make recommendations based on those results.
Your profile:
- 10+ years creative experience incl. Min. 3 years client side, ideally in an international digital or fin-tech environment.
- Proven track record of building and translating brands across multiple channels and touchpoints, from display to landing pages, to offline retail and TV campaigns (and everything in between).
- Passionate, experienced leader, experienced in building and growing a team of 15+.
- Collaborative mindset with strong interpersonal influencing skills across a range of teams.
- Entrepreneurial, able to work in a fast-paced data-driven environment with a positive attitude and the effortless ability to multitask.
- Ability to stay focused under pressure, prioritizing and managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluent in English with other European languages a plus.
