Expert Service: With the Expert Service, independent tax advisors prepare your tax return for you. Thanks to your personalized task list, you’ll know exactly which documents to upload so your expert can optimize your return. In the end, all you need to do is review and approve your tax return—done! Once processed by the tax office, your possible refund will be transferred to your bank account, and you’ll receive your tax assessment notice.

Do Your Taxes Yourself: After registering in the smartphone app or via browser, you’ll answer around 70 personalized questions. You’ll then immediately see the estimated amount of your tax refund—free of charge. If you decide to submit, we’ll transfer your tax return electronically to your local tax office. Once processed by the tax office, your possible refund will be transferred to your bank account, and you’ll receive your tax assessment notice.

Taxfix costs from €39.99 if you prepare your tax return yourself. The Expert Service is available from €99.99. You can download the Taxfix app for free from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, or access our service via web browser. At no extra cost, you can calculate whether you’re entitled to a tax refund and how much it might be. Alternatively, you can use the Expert Service  and have your tax return prepared by an independent tax advisor.

Submitting a tax return is definitely not something you do off the cuff. And when specialized knowledge is required, it’s understandable to be cautious or even feel sceptical.
