- Eva Glanzer joins the team coming from N26.
- At Taxfix, Glanzer will be responsible for further scaling the team.
- Glanzer will report to Taxfix CEO, Martin Ott, in her role as Chief People Officer (CPeO).
Prior to her time at N26, Glanzer held the position of CPeO at GetYourGuide, where she was responsible for employer branding and corporate culture, and successfully scaled the organization from 70 to over 700 employees.
“What convinced me from the start was the strong company culture at Taxfix as well as the high growth potential and the purpose-oriented goal of enabling financial wellbeing for everyone. Diversity and inclusion, and values such as trust are essential to the company and are actively promoted through various measures and lived every day,” says Glanzer. “With the new finance round, the rapid company growth will be scaled further and I am looking forward to not only supporting in scaling the team, but also continuing together with my colleagues to put our unique company culture first, as one of our best success factors.”
“We are so excited to welcome Eva as our new Chief People Officer at Taxfix. Our diverse team and our strong values are our top priority and set us apart as a company. With Eva, we are thrilled to have found someone who is a perfect fit, who not only has an incredible amount of experience in building first-class teams, but is also particularly committed to the further development of our employees and our company culture,” says Taxfix CEO Martin Ott.
Taxfix employs over 500 people from more than 45 nations and hired over 100 new team members in the first quarter of 2022 alone. By the end of the year, the company aims to grow to over 600 employees. At the end of April, Taxfix announced a new financing round of 220 million dollars. With the fresh capital, Taxfix is working on developing additional services as well as entering new markets in Europe and beyond.
Taxfix is Europe’s leading mobile tax app – with millions of downloads in Germany, Italy and Spain. Making complex tax systems accessible to everyone, Taxfix allows users to submit tax returns quickly and easily via app or web. The company recently surpassed the milestone of one billion euros in tax refunds returned to their customers. Mathis Büchi and Lino Teuteberg founded Taxfix in 2016 when they realized millions of people were not submitting their tax returns because of anxiety or insecurity. Taxfix offers an easy solution that guides users through the process of filing their taxes by asking them simple questions – as a tax advisor would.
The company aims to help people deal with their finances in a better way, ultimately unlocking financial wellbeing for everyone. Taxfix’s tax app is the first step towards this goal. More than 500 employees, including tax experts, developers and IT security experts, work in Berlin and Madrid to develop the Taxfix service and product portfolio further. The company is supported by well-known investors such as Index Ventures, Valar Ventures, Creandum, Redalpine and Teachers’ Venture Growth.
